Thomas Lumley Obituary
Thomas D. Lumley, 67, of Walden NY, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at home.
The son of Thomas Robert Lumley and Julia Jochem Lumley, he was born January 1, 1941 in New York, NY.
Thomas worked as a X-Ray Technician with St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. He volunteered with Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc., Canine Sanctuary, and worked at St. John's Hospital, Smithtown, NY, Good Samaritan, Long Island and St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Carol West Stevens Lumley, at home; sons: Thomas Robert Lumley of Medford, NY, Daniel Coe Lumley of Sayville, NY, and Clinton Stevens of Montgomery, NY; two brothers, William Kimberly Lumley and wife, Virginia of Medford, NY, and the Rev. Dale A. Lumley and wife, Miriam of Concordia, KS; sister, Judith Lacy of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren: Marissa, Deanna, Emily, Daniel Lumley and Katherine Elizabeth Stevens.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., this evening, Monday, July 7, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. Cremation will follow in Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh NY 12550 or Canine Sanctuary, Vails Gate, NY.

Dear Carol and Tom's family,
So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I wanted to attend the wake but didn't get out of work till 6PM and worked an hour+ away.
I have fond memories of Tom and his generosity. When he was administer of St.Lukes he lent me his car overnight because my car had broke down in the parking lot accross from the hospital. I will never forget his generosity and his smile. He was trully a great human being. The world will surely miss him.
