Eugene Fatiuk Obituary
Westbrookville, NY
Mr. Eugene "Gene" Fatiuk of Westbrookville, NY and a longtime resident of the area died Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. He was 88.
He was born May 22, 1920 in New York City, NY, the son of the late Harry and the late Olga Domala Fatiuk. He was married for 49 years to Louise Pieete Fatiuk. Gene worked as a Building Superintendent for Westcroft Realty of Hartsdale, NY.
He was a member of the Tri-State German American Society and the Middletown German American Club. Deerpark Leisure Group and the Deerpark Seniors.
A family statement read: "Gene was a great Husband and a loving Father and Grandfather."
Survivors include his wife, Louise Fatiuk at home; sons, Scott Fatiuk & his wife, Lisa of Westbrookville, NY, Jim Fatiuk of Houston, TX and Gregory Fatiuk & his wife, June of Yonkers, NY; daughters, Laura D'Iapice of Long Island, NY and Janice Fatiuk of Yonkers, NY; brother, John Fatiuk of Wurtsboro, NY; also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis on Thursday, July 10 from 12-1 p.m.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10 at 1 p.m. in Gray-Parker Funeral Home with Deacon Eugene Bormann officiating.
Cremation will be at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.
