Agnes Ross Pardy passed away peacefully on June 27, 2008 at the age of 92.

She was born on April 21, 1916 in Glasgow, Scotland. At age 7 she and her family moved to the United States and lived in Schenectady, NY. Agnes graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Schenectady in 1933. After graduation she worked for the General Electric Company as a company secretary for the next 18 years. In 1951, while working for G.E., she met and married her husband of 57 years, Royal F. Pardy.

Mrs. Pardy and her husband retired and sold the family business in 1985. They spent most of their summers together at their cabin on Silver Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. While at Silver Lake she actively enjoyed boating, swimming, reading, and being with friends and family. They also spent time traveling along the east coast and visiting their children in Arizona and Colorado. In 2003 Agnes and her husband moved to Fort Collins, CO to be near their family.

Mrs. Pardy was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Robert Ross and also her brother, William Ross. She is survived by her husband, Royal F. Pardy of Fort Collins, CO; her daughter, Gale Pardy-Leff of Sacramento, CA; her son, Ross Pardy of Fort Collins, CO; and her granddaughter, Nicole Leff of Sacramento, CA, and also many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held in Fort Collins and a family memorial in New York at a future date.
