Nancy Brecheisen Obituary

Pine Bush, NY

Nancy K. Brecheisen of Pine Bush, NY, died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at home. She was 59.

The daughter of the late Turner and Sara Daniel Baker, she was born March 21, 1949 in Clayton, NM.

Nancy Brecheisen moved from Wichita, KS, to the Pine Bush, NY area with her husband, Tim Brecheisen in 1994. Nancy has been involved in helping the hearing impaired for over 25 years. She was licensed to dispense hearing aids in New York and Kansas.

Nancy has six children, five sons and one daughter. The five sons are living in the New York area as well. Daniel Brecheisen, her oldest son, manages the EarCare Hearing Aid Center in Pine Bush, NY, Damon & Michelle Brecheisen manage the EarCare Hearing Aid Center in Newburgh.

Nancy has done extensive volunteer work socially and secularly in New York. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Wallkill Congregation. Her volunteer work involved promoting Bible education by personally contacting many householders in the door to door ministry. Nancy was extremely respectful of other people's feelings while promoting Bible education.

Secularly, Nancy assisted her husband in managing 10 hearing aid offices in Kansas and Oklahoma. For many years Nancy and her husband volunteered their professional services free of charge to assist other community volunteers in New York area that have hearing loss.

Survivors include her husband, Tim, at home; six children: Daniel and wife, Abigail Brecheisen, Deanice and husband, Brian Holmes, Damon and wife, Michelle Brecheisen, David and wife, Amy Brecheisen, Luke Brecheisen, Timson and wife, Anizka Brecheisen; mother, Sara Baker; eight grandchildren: Ashley & Bryson Holmes, Tanner, Mikhaila, Shayna, Elisabeth, Emma, & Abigail Brecheisen. She was one of eight sisters: Sondra Zinn, Lynda Bozarth, Nancy Brecheisen, Eleanore Adolph, Carolyn Baker, Cindy McLain, Debby Patterson, and Michelle Silvas.

Nancy was known for her hospitality and friendly ways. Her home was active with friends and visitors to the area. Her giving and loving ways were appreciated and will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday July 12, at 3 p.m. at the Pine Bush Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 22 Red Mills Rd., Wallkill, NY 12589. The Public is invited to attend this 30 minute program.
