Linda Williams Obituary

Smallwood, NY

Linda Ann Williams of Smallwood, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2008, with family at her side. She was 50.

She was born in Dover, DE on June 27, 1958 to the late Harley and Mary Taylor. Linda was employed for 17 years at Slayton Studio in Monticello. She was educated in Ellenville, and attended Ulster County Community College.

She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Anthony Williams at home; two brothers, William Parker of Camden, NJ and James Parker of Huntsville, AL; one niece, Michelle Blount of Ft. Hood, TX; five nephews, Thomas Blount of Monticello, Billy Blount of Baltimore, MD, Eric, Michael, and Phillip Blount all of Ft. Hood, TX; three sister-in-laws, Elaine Williams of Monticello, Ida Williams of Hackensack, NJ, and Christine Stubbs of San Mateo, CA; one brother-in-law, Sam (Dorothy) Williams of Summerville, SC. Linda was predeceased by her sister, Sharon Blount, whose six children she raised as her own.

Friends may call at Ramsay's Funeral Homes, Inc., 55 St. John St., Monticello on Saturday, July 12, from 12 noon until the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with Bishop Novelee Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery Ellenville, NY.
