Christine Schweizer Obituary

Park Ridge, NJ

Christine M. Schweizer (nee DiBella), 94, of Park Ridge, NJ, died Saturday, July 12, 2008.

She was the beloved wife for 52 years of the late William W. Schweizer. Devoted mother of Jacqueline A. Spearing of Walden, NY; dear sister of Margaret DiBella of Park Ridge, the late Mae DiBella and the late Michael V. DiBella; loving grandmother of Robert Spearing V. of Walden, NY, Theresa L. Romano and her husband, Nicholas of Montgomery, NY; cherished great-grandmother of two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Anthony Romano. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Angela DiBella of Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Before retiring, Chris taught Mathematics and Science in Northvale, NJ. Previously she had also taught at Fort Lee, Palisades Park, Montvale and Woodcliff Lake public schools. She was a member of the Park Ridge Golden Age Club.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at the Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Inc., 155 Kinderkamack Rd., Park Ridge, NJ. Interment will be in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at the funeral home.

Dear Jacquie,Teri, Bobbie and Family,
I was shocked to hear of the passing of "Mom II". My family and I loved her very much and she will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful, caring person.
