Anne Onorati Obituary

Auburn, NY

Anne M. Onorati, 97, formerly of John Smith Ave., Auburn, NY, died Friday, July 25, 2008 in the Huntington Nursing Home, Waterloo, NY.

She was born in Auburn, NY on March 10, 1910, the daughter of Peter and Maria Tonzi.

She was employed as Bookkeeper at Dunn and McCarthy for several years. A communicant of Holy Family Church and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond Onorati, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne of South New Berlin, NY and Richard Onorati and his wife, Natalie of Slate Hill, NY; one daughter, Carol Lane of Malone, NY; a grandson, Richard Onorati and his wife, Danielle of Middletown, NY; seven other grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Onorati was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Onorati, Sr. on June 13, 2001. Also, one daughter, Ann Rodgers and a brother, Arthur Tonzi.

Entombment will be in Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Mausoleum, in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming, NY.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church, Auburn on Monday, July 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Family and Friends may call at the Brew Funeral Home, Sunday evening, July 27 from 6-9 p.m.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, One St. Jude Place Bldg., PO Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38148-0552.

My condolences to the entire family for the loss of your mom. Still think of all the families that lived in each home on Forest when I have to go on that street. Nice memories.
