Born in Bronx, NY, March 19, 1928, the son of Clara and Paul Weissman, the husband of Frieda Weissman, the father of Enid and Robert and faithful dog Barak. He met the love of his life, Frieda, while she was working as a waitress in her brother's bar and restaurant and they were married 12 days later on August 13, 1948. They would have been celebrating 60 years. Frank was a "Renaissance Man" having multiple careers and talents during his lifetime. He was a teamster working for Chevrolet. He started another business after he retired of selling socks with his wife, Frieda at flea markets in New York. At age 65 he obtained his real estate license and became a realtor in Woodridge, NY. He served in the U.S. Army. Frank gave back to the community through his work with the Kiwanis and was active in both the Woodridge and Palm Springs Chapters. Frank touched the hearts of everyone he met and became lifetime friends to all he came in contact with.

Frank was preceded in death by his son, Robert and brother, Michael.

He is survived by his wife, Frieda of Palm Springs; and daughter, Enid and son-in-law, Mel Simrin of Cathedral City.

Services will be at graveside in the Desert Memorial Park, Cathedral City, today, Wednesday, July 30, at 9:30 a.m.

Enid and Frieda,
We met when we bought our house. Two happy events;we realized a dream and we gain a family. Since then we became so close to eachother, Frank was as everyone knows so kind, so wise always with a good advice and just a pleasure to be around him. We all loved him and he will still be in our hearts and memories forever.
