Jeannine Stelmack-Schade Obituary

Bloomingburg, NY

Jeannine Theresa Stelmack-Schade of Bloomingburg, NY, died July 31, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, after a courageous one-year battle with cancer. She was 37.

The daughter of John and Elisa Forestieri Stelmack, she was born January 27, 1971 in the Bronx.

Jeannine was an 18-year employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield in Middletown.

She was the devoted, loyal wife of Robert O. Schade, Jr.; loving and devoted mom to Hope Leanna and Robert John; daughter of Elisa and John Stelmack, and sister of John and Andrea Stelmack. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Robert Schade; sister-in-law, Sandi Schade and her partner, Terri Scribner; grandmother, Martha Schade and many cousins and friends.

Jeannine loved to be a part of her family's lives. She danced with Hope and taught at the Dance Diamond Dance School in Middletown, went to all of Rob's football practices and games and enjoyed cheering on her husband at O.C. Speedway (Go Slim Shady #91). She cheered her brother on in his rugby games and she sang in the folk choir at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church every Christmas with her Mom, sister, Andrea and Hope. Her smile lit up a room and she spread laughter and love everywhere she went.

Visitation hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY 10940.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 4, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Ave., Middletown, NY. Burial will follow in Cemetery of the Highlands in Highland Mills, NY.

Jeannine's family wishes to thank Dr. Dinsmore, the Tucker Center staff and all the people who made Jeannine's hospitalization more comfortable.

Her family will accept donations for her children's future education. Contributions may be made to the Hope L. and Robert J. Schade Education Fund, PO Box 234, Middletown, NY 10940.
