Evelyn Bott Obituary

Formerly of Monroe, NY

Evelyn M. Bott of Hamptonburgh, a homemaker and former longtime resident of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center in Hamptonburgh. She was 96.

The daughter of the late George W. Smith and Ruth Dorn Smith, she was born on June 16, 1912 in Monroe. She was the widow of Walter S. Bott.

Survivors include her son, Walter E. Bott of Locust Grove, VA; grandson, Keith S. Bott; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, Robert G. Bott, and her brothers, George and Cleveland Smith.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, at 11 a.m. in Seamanville Cemetery in Monroe, with The Rev. Baron Ashfield officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, 142 Stage Rd., Monroe, NY 10950.
