Adrian Vandervoort Obituary
Adrian J. Vandervoort is further survived by four great-grandchildren. He was born September 10, 1922 in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, and died Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the home of his daughter, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held today, August 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Route 44/55, Gardiner, NY. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.

I worked for Adrian while still in Junior High (CCHS `66). He taught me much about greenhouses, running a steam-jenny and making wreaths during the holiday season. I came to appreciate the value of hard work and my Dutch heritage. RIP Adrian. My sincere condolences to his family, in particular his 3 daughters of whom I have fond, somewhat fading memories.
