Gloria Taylor Obituary

Port Jervis, NY

Gloria T. Taylor of Port Jervis, NY, a retired Secretary for the Superintendent of Schools, Port Jervis School System and a lifelong resident of the area, died August 8, 2008 at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis.

The daughter of the late Clarence Tuthill and Henrietta Palmer Tuthill, she was born in Lumberland, NY. She was the widow of Ray E. Taylor.

Survivors include two sisters, Virginia T. Buser of Ringwood, NJ and Mildred Myers of Marthasville, MO; two nephews, Richard Myers and Steven Taylor & wife, Tracy of Milford; two nieces, Charlene Buser and Linda Wideman and her longtime companion, Richard Morgan of Port Jervis, NY.

Friends may call Monday, August 11 from 10-11 a.m. at Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mayer officiating. Interment in Montoza Cemetery, Barryville, NY.

Contributions may be made to Deerpark Humane Society, Rt. 209, Port Jervis, NY.
