I worked with Lilly at the Government Center in Goshen. She was a kind hearted lady that was generous and unselfish to many. Lilly had a knack of bringing happiness to others through small acts of kindness.

When Joanne's daughter became ill, she sent encouraging cards and notes to let her know that she was not alone in her time of need. She remembered my 3 newborn grandsons with beautiful gifts. She traveled to many stores to buy baseball, basketball and football theme gifts so that each baby had unique gifts.

Lilly would take time to decorate a card envelope with stickers and colored markers. She made you feel special by celebrating an event with a handmade decorated sign that may be topped off with a helium balloon! Her food buffets were something- a snack for any and all needs! Lilly remembered that Judy liked spinach squares, Alice loved dark chocolate and Mary enjoyed cherry tomatoes and she provided for our particular wants.

It looks very empty at her desk that she cleaned every night and it now shows a worn spot from her meticulous cleaning. The desk shows a sign that Lilly sat there and it is different. We are different and affected by the love she has shown us.

We miss her and will always remember Lilly for her big heart and kind ways.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lilly's family.

'Lilly' worked for us at the Orange County Clerk's Office in her senior years. I had the privilege of being the supervisor in the department where she did her daily duties. Her work ethics never were matched by any of the younger workers in our office.
Lilly loved life. She never missed a birthday or holiday, always making a celebration of the day, which made our office a happier place to work.
'Lilly' cared for all of us in the department and showed 'motherly' affection toward us all.
She talked to us as any parent might speak to her children, sometimes giving advice sometimes chastising us but mostly being the friend we needed.
She was loving and giving in everyway she could be.
I am saddened by her passing. I pray for her eternal soul.
My condolences to her family... Your mom was one of a kind in this world and made all our times together at the County a happier place to work.
I will miss you, Lilly Lu!

Dear Steve and family,

I was sad to learn your Mom has passed. It made me reflect on yesteryear and the good old days. Sometimes they seem like yesterday and sometimes they seem a lifetime ago, but so great.

Both of your parents were awesome people and I hope your loving memories will sustain you during this time.

With much love and prayers,
Sunshine Worden
