Christina Wasson-Bovi Obituary
Christina A. Wasson-Bovi, 70, of New Windsor, NY, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus.
The daughter of John and Elizabeth Spisak Delli Bovi, she was born October 12, 1937 in New York City. She was the widow of Ronald Wasson.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Wasson and wife, Loretta of the Town of Newburgh; daughters, Deborah Smith and her companion, Peter Fromm of New Windsor and Denise Connelly and husband, Sean of Laurel, NY; sister, Veronica Wasson and husband, Arthur of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Jessica and her fiance, William, Renee and friend, Derek, Vanessa, Catherine and Matthew and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, August 14 from 4-8 p.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 N. Plank Rd. (Rt. 32), Newburgh.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 4 St. Joseph's Place, New Windsor with Father Robert Hilfker officiating.
Cremation will follow at Cedar Hill Crematory and Burial of Cremains will take place at a time convenient to the family at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to American Heart Association, Hearts Gifts Processing Center, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 or Cystic Fibrosis, 245 Main St., Suite 520, White Plains, NY 10601.
