Dolores Cooley Obituary
Dolores Cooley of Pine Bush, NY, a retired sales clerk for Pine Bush Pharmacy and a 32 year resident of the area passed away on Monday August 11, 2008 at Elant in Goshen. She was 70.
The daughter of the late Rosario Lanoce and Margaret Myers Lanoce, she was born on August 5, 1938 in Manhattan. Dolores was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush, The Walker Valley and Pine Bush Seniors, The Pine Bush Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the Pine Bush Fire Department Benevolent Association.
Survivors include her loving daughters: Gail Forkin and her husband, Edward of Bronx, NY, Lori Benedict and her husband, Bruce of Bronx, NY, Gloria Helms and her husband, Gene of Pine Bush; six beloved grandchildren, Ann Marie, Eugene, Brian, Amanda, Justin, and Cody; one beloved great-grandchild, Marley; beloved brother, John Lanoce of NJ; beloved brother-in-law, Louis Caggiano of Pine Bush; and sister-in-law, Annette Lanoce of NJ, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Walter Cooley; her brother, Roy Lanoce; her sister, Ann Marie Caggiano, and her nephew Louis Caggiano Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd,. Pine Bush, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 15, at the Church of the Infant Saviour at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in the family plot in New Prospect Cemetery.

Dolores was one of the best friends Mike and I had. Although we will miss her terribly everyday, it gives us comfort knowing that she is now with her beloved Walter. We are sure the heavens are laughing at her jokes.

Dolores was a valued member of the Pine Bush Ladies Auxiliary. She was very giving and caring person. She was always there to help anyone in the community. I will miss her, especially her jokes. It was a pleasure to know her and call her my friend. My deepest sympathy is extended to her family.
