Yvonne Hughes Obituary
Yvonne Hughes, 81, of Jeffersonville, NY, a retired Supervisor for AT&T in Monticello, NY and a lifetime resident of the area, died August 14, 2008 at Hackensack Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ.
The daughter of Archie and Julia Norris Misner, she was born March 29, 1927 in Callicoon, NY. She was the widow of Donald Hughes.
She was a member of St. Tammany Chapter Order of The Eastern Star and Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Anita C. Misner of New Rochelle, NY; three nephews, L. Michael Misner and his wife, Susan of White Plains, NY, David R.A. Misner and his wife, Katherine of North Hills, PA and Jonathan D. Misner and his wife, Lu-Anne of New Rochelle, NY; one niece, Elizabeth S. Misner of Mt. Vernon, NY; eight grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leonard and Duane Misner.
Friends may call on Friday, August 22 from 2-5 p.m. at Stewart-Murphy Funeral home, Jeffersonville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23 at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Andrews officiating.
Burial will be in Callicoon Center Cemetery, Callicoon Center, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jeffersonville First Aid Squad.
