I never knew Brenda but if she is anything like her son Dave then she was a special woman. She did a lot right as a mother I think. I am deeply sorry for your loss

We received this poem at a service Saturday and it just fit Brenda so well. No author was accredited on it. God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be So he put his arms around her And whispered "Come with ME" With tearful eyes we watched her suffer And saw her fade away Although we loived her dearly We could not make her stay A golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. The next one is the one we had in our son's card and it really gave us comfort. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow-I am a diamond glint on snow. I am sunlight on ripened grain- I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush-I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circling flight- I am the soft starshine at night.Do not stand by my grave and cry-I am not there....I did not die. Anonymous. Love to all of you.

Dear Dave and Family,
I just learned of Brenda's passing and I am so saddened to hear the news. Brenda has been in my thoughts often since I last spoke to her. Brenda was more than a cashier at the Mobil. She was a part of a morning crew that was the heart and soul of Mobil. She was dedicated, loyal, hard working and honest. I always knew that she would do anything for me. It is with heavy heart that I say how very sorry I am that she left us so young. I wish I could have been at her service. She deserved to have me there and I wish I had known about her passing earlier. But I know that she is in a better place and I pray that she is at peace.
Best Wishes, Peace and Love,
Rosie

Our love to our wonderful David and to all your family. There are no words that we can say right now that can ease your pain. If there were we would bring them personallyto you. Only time can ease the ache you feel at the loss of such a wonderful person that was a part of each one of you.Everyone has to follow their own journey of grief in their own way. let the feelings take you where they must and come out the other side with all your wonderful memories and knowing you will be with her again and she is always with you. Now to Brenda. From the first time we met and the times we've talked we've felt the connection to each other. I feel cheated that I didn't get to see you more, but, I know from that connection, we will meet on the other side and our friendship will continue there. You gave us a wonderful son for our daughter and we share a fantastic grandson. We also share the love of a good Nascar race and a good Bingo game. No telling what kind of chicanery we can raise when we get together again. Heaven help - well - heaven. This is sent with lots of love and the knowledge that we will meet again. So my friend, until then, please watch over all our loved ones. Thank you and walk in the light.

Soon we'll come to the end of life's journy & perhaps we'll never meet again, untill we gather in heaven's bright city, far away on that beautiful shore. If we never meet again this side of heaven,as we struggle through this world & it's strife. There's another meeting place in heaven beside the river of life, where roses bloom forever, & seperations come no more, if we never meet again this side of heaven, We'll meet you on that beautiful shore. So often we are parted with sorrow, time & action often quit this pain, but we'll never sorrow in heaven, God be with you till we meet again.(old gospel song)All though she has gone on before us, she will never truely be gone. She'll be right there in the hearts & minds of those who love her, you may even see her, in the twinkle of her grandchilderns eye's she will be with us always even till the end of time. Untill we meet again may God bless you & keep you & grant you peace Love Ya'll

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
