Formerly of Pine Island, NY

Maureen Bush, 62, formerly of Pine Island, NY, passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Worth, FL on Friday, August 22, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.

After a courageous 6 year battle with cancer, she is now at peace, leaving behind her best friend and loving husband of 26 years, Paul; her loving son, Nick Napolitano of Houston, TX, formerly of Middletown, NY, and her step-son, Keith Bush and wife, Christina of California; grandson, Conner and granddaughter, Marissa. She is survived by her parents, William and Florence Gurda of Boynton Beach, FL; brother, William Gurda Jr. and wife, Carol of Pine Island, NY; sister, Kathleen Gillan and husband, Bill of Boynton Beach, FL; brother, Tom Gurda and wife, Shelley of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Dan Gurda of Delray Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Holly Trittipo and husband, Mike of Minnesota; Maureen leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A loving and caring wife, mother, sister, friend and daughter, Maureen will never be forgotten and will live on forever in the hearts of those who were so fortunate to have known her.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 6, at Del Lago Funeral Home, 131 South Lakeside Drive, Lake Worth, FL 33460. 561-533-5111 at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.

8/28/08 Dear Mr. Bush, Maureen & I were very good friends. I can't count the hours, weeks, days & years we were together. She and I both were Christine and Sparky Sicina's bridesmaids.
