Sarah Dyer Obituary
Sarah C. Dyer, of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Park Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Ctr., Middletown, NY. She was 90.
Sarah was born in Sussex, NJ on May 6, 1918, the daughter of the late Ernest William and Viola Rutan Dyer.
She retired as a Registered Nurse at Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown and she was a member and past Elder of First Presbyterian Church, Middletown.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon wife of Anthony Perna, Sr. of Middletown; two grandchildren, Anthony Perna, Jr. husband of Michele of Mountaindale and Tina wife of Adam Sutherland of Odgensburg, NJ; six great grandchildren, Brian Sutherland, Ashley Sutherland of Odgensburg, Stephanie Perna, Samantha Perna, Alison Perna and Emily Perna of Mountaindale, NY; two sisters, Evelyn Bell of Beemerville, NJ and Ruth Blessing of the State of Florida.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Marjorie Price, Linn Dyer, Joseph Dyer, Etta Terwilliger, and Ernest Dyer, Jr.
Friends are invited to call today, August 28 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Morse Funeral Home, Inc., 33 Railroad Ave., Middletown.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 29.
Burial will be on Tuesday, September 2 at 11 a.m. in Beemersville Cemetery, Beemersville, NJ.
Arrangements are under the guidance of Morse Funeral Home, Inc., Middletown.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Sally...Ya'll will be in our thoughts and prayers.....Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. although it is hard right now, as each day passes the hurt will fade and the seed of love will grow and special moments and memories will remain in your hearts.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I only met Sally once or twice. My sympathies to Ruth Blessing on the loss of her sister and to Sharon on the loss of her mother. The loss of a loved on is great.
