Ira Youngman Obituary
Ira George Youngman of Middletown, NY, formerly of Pine Island, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Park Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Middletown. He was 77.
The son of George & Katherine Leinweber Youngman, he was born on August 29, 1931 in Pine Island, NY.
Ira was the widower of Dorothy Kosturko Youngman.
He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran. Ira was a member of the Amity Presbyterian Church, Past Member of the Greenville VFW, Past Member of the Pulaski Fire Company, Past Member of the Fawn Lake Hunting Club, Past Member of the Middletown Eagles and a Former member of Krajewski's Softball Team.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Sadowski of Pine Island, Janice Simpson of Middletown, and Joyce Kelly & husband, Michael of Middletown; granddaughter, Dorothy Simpson & several other grandchildren; two brothers, Ken Youngman & wife, Estella of Pine Island and Jim Youngman & wife, Marilyn of Ocala, FL; sister, Brenda Ferrara & husband, Jim of Ocala, FL; several nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by wife, Dorothy; son, Nicholas Kosc; two infant brothers & sister, Clara Brown.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
