Richard Hendrickson Obituary
Richard F. Hendrickson of Jeffersonville, entered into eternal life peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 71.
He was born on July 8, 1937 in Cornwall, NY to William E. and Helen Holstead Hendrickson, Sr. Rich was a past minister for the Walker Valley Methodist Church; a retired self-employed contractor; and his most recent employment was with the Times Herald Record. A very loving and caring father and grandfather, Rich lived a beautiful life and he was everyone's friend. He will be sadly missed by his family and all of the lives he has touched.
Rich leaves behind his daughters, Kelly Sattler and her husband, Bill; Holly Hendrickson-Shook and her fiance', Adam Mones all of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Donald T. Hendrickson and his wife, Vivian of Livingston Manor; William "Bill" Hendrickson and his wife, Carol of FL; seven grandchildren, Autumn Shook; Alisha Purdy and her husband, Greg; BJ Sattler, Jr.; Bridgete, Amy, Ashley, and Heather Sattler; two great-grandchildren, Ariana and Piper Purdy and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Shawn Hendrickson.
A Graveside Service will be held today, Tuesday, September 2, at the Walker Valley Methodist Cemetery, Route 52, Walker Valley, NY at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rich's name may be made to the Jeffersonville Ambulance Corp., PO Box 396, Jeffersonville, NY 12748.
