Louis Green Obituary
Louis E. Green of Walden, NY, a retired auto parts salesman and a lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, September 4, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh. He was 73.
The son of Raymond and Pauline Miller Green, he was born July 13, 1935 in Newburgh.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Depew Green at home; two sons, Louis E. Green, Jr. of Cronomer Valley and Barry W. Green, Sr. of Walden; three daughters, Joann Cassidy of Town of Newburgh, Kelly Wright of Town of Newburgh and Christina Wood of Stanford, NY; two brothers, Raymond Green of Poughkeepsie and Kenneth Green of Town of Newburgh; two sisters, Virginia Cook of Town of Newburgh and Marilyn Pierce of Florida; 10 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral service will be held Saturday evening at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
Arrangements were by the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc.; 845-778-3811.

It broke my hart to here of Lou's passing. He was one of the best friends I ever had. I will miss him dearly.My condolances to you Bert & your family. AJ will miss him too.
