Russell Brockner Obituary
North Branch, NY
Russell O. "Rooster" Brockner, 65, of North Branch, NY, a Truck Driver for Burnwell Gas, Monticello, NY and a lifetime resident of the area, died September 8, 2008 at his home.
Son of the late John and Nora Allen Brockner, he was born September 16, 1942 in Callicoon, NY.
He was a longtime member of North Branch Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lois Baum Brockner at home; two sons, Dennis Brockner and wife, Michelle of North Branch and Michael Brockner and wife, Janayna of North Branch; one daughter, Lisa Ondreyko and husband, Doug of Plattekill, NY; six grandchildren: Taylor, Danielle, Dylan and Tyler Brockner, Lauren and Mason Ondreyko; his siblings: Peggy Stephens, Arlene Young, Jennie Bauerfeind, Patty Conklin, Allan Brockner, Paul Brockner and Jackie Brockner; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Miller.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery, North Branch, NY will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Lee Andrews will officiate.
Burial will be in Heavenly Rest Cemetery, North Branch, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550 or to the North Branch Fire Department, North Branch, NY 12766.
