Barry Junta Obituary
Barry T. Junta of Kerhonkson, NY, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at his home. He was 43.
Barry was born in Ridgewood, NJ on May 15, 1965, the son of John Junta, Sr. and Peggy (Russell) Locorotondo.
Mr. Junta was a HVAC Mechanic for Ert's Plumbing, Heating & AC in Liberty, NY. He loved to fish, hunt, snowmobiling and was an avid gardener. Barry was a parishioner of the Ellenville Reformed Church. He was a much loved father, son, brother and uncle and will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, John of Ramsey, NJ and Peggy of Kerhonkson, Barry is survived by his daughter, Crystal Junta of Accord, NY; his sisters, Darlene Johnson of Simi Valley, CA, Jill Albano of Ringwood, NJ, Heidi Ferry of Tillson, NY and Nicole Rosa of Kerhonkson; his brother, John Junta, Jr. of Accord and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be held on Friday, September 19 from 5-8 p.m. at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd St., Kerhonkson.
A Celebration of his life is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery.
