Cody Beste of Middletown, NY, died on Saturday, September 13, 2008 in Johnson, NY. He was 27 years old.
The son of James Beste and Stacy Gaylor Gomez, he was born on March 30, 1981 in Peekskill, NY.
A family statement reads: "Cody had a gentle and loving sprit with a kind and generous heart and a great sense of humor that his family and friends will miss every day."
He worked as a farmer at Sleepy Hollow Orchard in Johnson.
Cody is survived by his parents, James and Stacy; brother, Bruce Beste of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Katherine Gomez of Albany, Victoria Gomez of Sloatsburg, and Audrey Jackson and husband, Lance of Rome, NY; grandparents, Hal and Evelyn Gaylor; uncle, Jordan Gaylor and wife, Patti of Mamaroneck, many more uncles, aunts and cousins, and his loving girlfriend, Robyn King.
Cremation will be private at Cedar Hill Crematory. Burial of ashes will be at the family's convenience in the family plot in Greenwood Lake.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, September 21, at The Gather Inn, Purgatory Rd., Goshen, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stacy Gomez, PO Box 146, Middletown, NY 10940.

I worked with Cody a while back and I have to say he will be greatly missed. Such a sweet, kind-hearted guy and so many people cared about him....Im so sorry for your loss and will be keeping you in my prayers.
