Anna Daley MacVean

Anna Daley MacVean of Middletown, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Glen Arden in Goshen. She was 81.

The daughter of the late Edward and Mary Colvin Daley, she was born on May 16, 1927 in Caledonia, NY. She was the widow of Kenneth MacVean.

Mrs MacVean was on the Board of Directors of South East Towers and she was volunteer at Horton Hospital as well as a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. She was an expert at growing African Violets and was an avid birdwatcher.

Survivors include her children: Mary MacVean and her husband, Mitchell Landsberg of Los Angeles, CA, Kathryn O'Connor and her husband, Shawn of Slate Hill and James MacVean and his wife, Mary of Middletown, and her grandchildren: Sam and Galen Landsberg, Andrew, Matthew and Emily O'Connor, Skyler, Kayla, Ashley and Kaiden as well as several nieces. she was predeceased by her son, Kenneth MacVean, Jr.

Visitation hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 19, at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc., 72 W. Main St. in Middletown, NY.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, at Our Lady of mt. Carmel R.C. church in Middletown, NY. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
