Richard Hansen Obituary

Warwick, NY

Richard K. M. Hansen of Warwick, NY, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 48 years old.

The son of Richard and Maureen Tyndall Hansen, he was born on May 5, 1960 in New York City. He served in the Army from 1979 to 1986 during the Grenada conflict, and was a member of the American Legion Post 151.

Richard is survived by his mother, Maureen; brother, Christopher of Warwick; two sisters, Deborah Hitlan of Queensbury, NY and Maureen Vazquez of Hawley PA; Godmother and great-aunt, Mary Murphy of Union City NJ; aunts: Terry, Kathy, Pat, Arleen and their families, several nieces and nephews including Christopher, Patrick and Christine.

Visitation will be private and at the convenience of the family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church on Friday, September 26, at 11 a.m. Cremation will be private.
