Eddie Speggetti- He was the best school bus driver ever. I remember the special times when Eddie would pick us up for school and drive into Hurleyville to take the first few kids to Friers to get candy. Eddie always brought a bag of fireballs to hand out to the other students. He was a wonderfull man.I was among the first few to give him his nickname and I will miss him deeply.

Uncle Eddie was my Aunt Honeys husband. I remember their wedding. I remember when he got the Ford convertible...of course it was yellow. I remember the house they built...of course it was yellow and I remember the wall to wall carpeting...of course it was yellow. Since I have moved to SC, I only saw Honey and Eddie twice. Once when they came here to Charleston. The guide was talking about the great Charleston Earthquake, and Eddie started talking about the small earthquake he was in when he was in Albany NY. The other time was when he drove all the way from Monticello to Oscoda MI for my daughter Lori's wedding. I remember a lot of funny things about Eddie, and I am sure he is happier now where he is so he can be with his beloved Helen. I'll miss you Uncle Eddie. Jeanie (Case) Suter

The years were kind to us, because of the presence of Eddie in our lives....So many wonderful memories are there, because of his wonderful sense of humor and caring ways...
And how can I forget, seeing him almost daily, when he stopped at the store to pick up student's.....Yes, he will be missed....

Ed was always very gracious and always had a smile as you greeted him. He was my bus driver for a short period of time as well as a friend of the family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family. He will be missed.

My prayers and thoughts go out to all of his family. Eddie was my bus driver for many many years, I still remember those stops he made for us at the candy store down in Hurleyville, he was one of the best bus drivers you could ask for. He would go that extra mile for me when it would rain out, and drop me off right at my door instead of the bus stop so I would not have to walk in the rain. May he rest in peace.
