Maryjane Williams Obituary
Maryjane Williams departed this life for life eternal on Monday, September 22, 2008 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus.
Maryjane was born May 28, 1929 to the parentage of the late Ike Felton Walter and Alberta Brown of Tuskegee, AL.
She was a 61-year resident of Newburgh and a retired Seamstress for Local #29 of Newburgh, NY.
Survivors include her loving family: three sons, Charles Burton of Washington DC, Ronald J. Williams of Long Beach, CA, and Richard A. Williams and his wife, Debra of Cedar Hill, TX; daughter, Angela P. Williams of Schenectady, NY; three sisters, Cassie P. Seals of Birmingham, AL, Freddie Felton of Auburn, AL, and Bernice Ware and her husband, Pete of Newburgh; special daughters, Arlivia West and Adeline Haynes, and honorary family member, Diana Kavel, all of Newburgh; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers: Willie Brown, Clemmie Felton and Alfredo Felton; two sisters, Rosa Hardy and Johnsa Mae Talbert, and a grandson, Marcus Williams.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First St., Newburgh, NY. Services will begin at noon with the Rev. Harry Brown Jr. officiating.
Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
