James and Christie, I wanted to tell you both how sorry I am. I read the article on what happened but in not way put it together that this was your dad, James. I know loosing him was not your first choice but for him to be doing something he loved and must have felt at peace doing should hopefully offer some comfort. Take care and know we love you all. Ralph and I along with the rest of the crew (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) grew up in a special time and very special place where boys could be boys. So many care free years no worries no fear just good fun with lots of laughs. Now all just memories I STILL DWELL ON THOSE DAYS AND JUST CHUCKLE. The news of his passing made very upset and I still cant belive it. Knowing Ralph I think he went out the way he would have wanted riding his motorcycle and jamming to his music. Its hard to express in words the loss of a good friend althought It's never goodbye but rather see you in the afterlife. REST IN PEACE BUDDY.
Mrs. Kirk and Jim, Our deepest sympathy and condolences are with you as you grieve.

I cannot believe I'll never see you again...you were such a great friend Doug and I will miss you so much.
When I found out I was just packing some of little Dougs toys and found the flower you gave me to put on his bed at the hospital when he was in the NICU, I guess that was you saying bye to me....I will never forget you and I will love you forever.

Ralph!! Life just isn't the same without you. It never will be. You were always there when I needed you. I've been looking thru all of my pictures. We really did have a great time!! I'm gonna miss you always. It will be hard to go see DJs & go to music festivals without you!! I'm going to miss those cruel text messages you'd send me when you got to go to a music festival without us to tell us who is on & how much fun you're having. You would make me so jealous! Those were just mean!!! I feel as though you were given a 2nd chance in life so you could make sure that everyone you knew, knew how much you loved them. There is no doubt in my mind how much you love Curtis & I. & I know, that you know, the feeling is mutual. You were so excited about being Uncle Ralphie & making fun of me telling me how cute I'm gonna be with a 'big-ol belly'!! I was really hoping you'd rag on me for the 9 whole months!! In a sick sort of way I was really looking forward to it! I'm sure gonna miss our hour (or even 2 hour) long talks. You mean the world to me. You will always be in our hearts!!
