Janet MacInnis Obituary
Janet Ripa MacInnis, 51, of Branford, CT, died October 5, 2008 at her home. Mother of Bonny MacInnis of New Haven, CT and Ryan MacInnis of Branford, CT. Former wife of Donald P. MacInnis of Waterbury, CT. Daughter of George Ripa of New Windsor, NY and the late Joan Galu Ripa. Stepdaughter of Sylvia Ripa of New Windsor, NY. Sister of Jeffrey Ripa of Oceanside, CA, James and Gregory Ripa, both of Fort Montgomery, NY. Prior to her retirement, Janet was a nursery teacher for the Old Stone Church in East Haven, CT.
Her funeral procession left the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, CT, Thursday morning, October 9, at 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Augustine Church at 10 a.m. Interment followed in All Saints Cemetery.
