Blanca Rosado Obituary
Blanca Rosa Maisonet Rosado of Newburgh, entered into rest on Friday, October 17, 2008 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. She was 71.
Daughter of the late Felix Masionet and Nemencia DeJesus, she was born on July 25, 1937 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico.
"Family and friends will best remember Blanca for her love for the Lord. She had inner strength with quiet dignity. She was our hero."
She is survived by her loving children: Margie Rosado and her husband, Hector of Barceloneta, P.R., Rose Rosado and her husband, Mario of Newburgh, Beverly Williams and her husband, Sabu of Crestview, FL, Janette Reeves and her husband, Nathan of Wallingford, CT, John Rosado, Jr. of Newburgh, Lisa Cordona and her husband, Angel of Newburgh, and Nancy Shirley and her husband, Ted of Orlando, FL; brother, Felix Maisonet and his wife, Haydee of Newburgh; sisters, Amelia Maisonet-Franqui and her husband, Rafael of Cruce De Dabila, P.R. and Trina Maria Rosario and her husband, Jose of Newburgh; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carlos Humberto Polanco.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 23 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A service will take place at 7 p.m.
