Elvira Reynolds Obituary

Cochecton, NY

Elvira Leontine Reynolds of Cochecton, NY (1925-2008), peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008.

The daughter of Elroy (Roy) Wormuth and Elvira L. Essman Wormuth.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Reynolds; loving mother of Karen Alcaide and her son-in-law, Hector, and Wayne Reynolds and her daughter-in-law, Noreen. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Wormuth his wife, Shirley, and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and many long time friends.

She attended the University of New York at Delhi, served as Secretary and Treasurer of Reynolds Earthmovers and was a member of The Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion Post #73, Monticello, NY.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, November 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main St., Narrowsburg, NY.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Damascus, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life With Cancer, 2700 Prosperity Ave. Suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22031, in memory of Elvira Reynolds.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Home, Narrowsburg, 845-252-3901.
