Richard Salom Obituary
Richard Salom of Chester, a self-employed General Contractor and longtime resident of the area, died on Thursday, October 30, 2008, after a long illness at home. He was 81.
The son of the late Juan and Elisa Salom, he was born on March 21, 1927 in Argentina.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Manca Salom, at home; his son, Richard Salom of New Windsor, NY, and his extended family, Maria Kotak of Chester, Catherine Kotak of Clintondale, Thomas and Maureen Kotak, Edward and Susan Kotak, Joseph and Eileen Kotak, all of Long Island. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and his faithful dog, Coco.
Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, November 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lippincott Funeral Home, Inc., 92 Main St., Chester, NY. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
