Stanle White Obituary
Stanle Cooley White, a lifetime resident of the area, died Thursday, October 30, 2008, after a long illness, with his family by his side at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus in Middletown, NY. He was 70 years old. He was born in Plattsburgh on May 10, 1938.
Stan was a dedicated husband and father who always put his family first. He was a hard-working man whose loyalty and commitment extended to his work and his life. He made a difference in the lives of many and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Edith; one son, Stanley and his wife, Jennifer of Cleveland, TN; a daughter, LeeAnne Hubbard and her husband, Paul of Napanoch, NY; two brothers, Harrison "Harry" and his wife, Shirley of Pickens, SC; and Anthony "Tony" of West Union, SC; one sister, Fredericka Ann "Freddie" Arico and her husband, Tony of Hyde Park and three grandchildren: Katherine, Samuel and Rebecca. He was predeceased by his brother, Tom White.
There will be no visitation and cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
A Funeral Service of Remembrance will take place Sunday, November 2, at 2 p.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stan's name to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 Third Ave., 3rd Floor NY, NY 10017.

Aunt Edie,Stan & LeAnne,
I just wanted to let you all know how much I Love you and will be thinking of you in this difficult time. Your husband and father will always hold a special place in my heart. He was truly "one of the best ". I really have enjoyed the dinners we shared in the last year and of course the laughs. I will always remember is laugh. My prayers and love are with you all.
