James Peterson Obituary

Van Etten, NY - James A. Peterson, 93, of Van Etten, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa.

He was born in Paterson, N.J. on July 17, 1914, the son of the late Edward and Anna (Rousset) Peterson. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

James is survived by his wife: Sophie (Prokopczyk) Peterson; three daughters and son: Judith (Stanley) Mazur, Middletown, James (Marilyn) Peterson, Plymouth, Mass., Jane (Marvin) Zepkowski, Monroe, N.C., Irene (Joseph) St. Angelo, Van Etten; grandchildren: Joseph St. Angelo, Michael (Kelly) St. Angelo, Heather (Christopher) Galloway, Kim (Robert) McManus, Melissa (Kevin) Eppelson, Eric Peterson; great-grandchildren: Anthony St. Angelo, Alysha St. Angelo, Kalee Eppelson, Kendall Eppelson, Jack Galloway, Ella Galloway, Kate McManus; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sat. October 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Allen-Manser Funeral Home, Spencer, N.Y.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Van Etten with the Rev. William A. Moorby officiating.

Interment will be in Canfield Memorial Cemetery, Van Etten.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
