William Radlein Obituary

Pine Bush - William E. Radlein, a retired N.Y.C. Police Officer, died Friday, October 19, 2007, at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, Middletown. He was 78.

The son of the late William Radlein and Rose Daly Radlein, he was born September 1, 1929 in Long Beach, N.Y.

A veteran, William served his country in the U.S. Army from 1947-1951.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Cusack Radlein at home; three loving sons: John Radlein and his wife, Frances of Peach Tree City, Ga., William J. Radlein and his wife, Tracy of Greer, S.C. and Stephen Radlein and his wife, Lauralyn of Wurtsboro; one loving daughter, Nancy Ostergren and her husband, David; eight loving grandchildren: Patricia Ann, Jennifer, David, Marissa, Billy, Caitlin, Erik and Stephen; one loving sister, Karyl Dezendorf of Glendale, N.Y.; two nieces, Donna and Karen; and one nephew, Alan.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., today, Monday, Oct. 22, at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the Church of the Infant Saviour, Rte 302, Pine Bush. Burial will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen.
