I'm very sorry for your loss. I lived next door to Don when I moved to Brandt Village in '99 and he was always kind, friendly, and funny! I admired him a great deal. I was sorry when he moved but am happy he touched my life for a short while.

To Donnie Jay & family. Mr.Jay was my room mate at Blumenthal Rehab. We watched the British Open together & he told me stories of the earlier days of the GGO & Sam Snead. As a WWII buff I asked him had he served. All he said was that he flew on B-17's. While I complained about the bad food, Mr. Jay must have remebered times when just a hot meal would have been a Godsend. Mr. Jay & several other folks of his 'greatest generation' inspired me to work harder at my own recovery, to get out of a wheel chair and back on my feet. I only want Mr, Jay's family to know that even in his jat days he was still an inspiration & role model for a younger man. My sympathies & condolences. Robert W. Kirkman
