Laura Drach Obituary

Modena - Laura R. Drach passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 65 years old.

Mrs. Drach was born December 29, 1941 in Harriman, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Mertheran and the late Winifred (Babcock) Potter. She was an employee of Ultra Seal in New Paltz. Laura liked gardening, and she also enjoyed camping.

Those who survive her are: three sisters: Antonilla Casiano of Batavia, N.Y.; Alice and her husband, Bruce Graves, of Marlboro; Susan and her husband, William Boyd, of Marlboro; and four brothers: James and his wife, Deborah Potter, of Wallkill; Enrique Casiano of New Paltz; Merthern Alex and his wife Viola Potter of Kingston; Santos and his wife, Gail Casiano, of Wallkill; and many nieces and nephews. Her brothers William and Robert Potter predeceased her.

Calling hours will be Saturday, October 27 from 4 -6:30 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 S. Putt Corners Rd., New Paltz, NY 12561.

The funeral will be Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Arlene Dawber officiating. Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.

Hi! I knew Laura through my mom, Linda, and through Annie and Jessica. She was a very wonderful and funny lady. I have many very fond memories of her. She will be greatly missed.
