Mary Chawner Obituary

Pine Bush - Mary M. Chawner, a presser for Master Craft in Pine Bush and longtime resident of the area, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus. She was 86. The daughter of the late Herbert Morrison and Mary Toomey Morrison, she was born September 3, 1921 in Brooklyn. Survivors include her loving daughter, Patricia Wentzell and her husband George of Pine Bush; loving son, William Chawner and his wife Debra of Pine Bush; six loving grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle and Jeffrey Wentzel and Katie, Megan and Becky Chawner; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband William Chawner Sr.; her son, Robert Kirkpatrick; her sister, Lillian Yarwood; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Boniface. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, October 25 at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, October 26 at the Church of the Infant Saviour. Father Kevin Gallagher will officiate. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush.
