Walter, Carolyn, Rose and family,
I'll never be able to explain what I'm thinking or how I feel at this time. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all every second. I'll always cherish mine and Walters memories that we had growing up together, and the memories our families had over the years. Walter will always be my oldest and dearest friend, and I know he's up there in Heaven smiling at us all. "Death is only passing through God's other door."

I worked at the Center as a speech intern this past summer and met Walter while I was there. He was a really sweet guy who I'm sure will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

We had the priviledge of seeing walter this summer for the first time since he was a small boy. I just wanted to say that Walter was a wonderful person. He was a student in my weight training class the first half of the fall semester. He always had a smile on his face and his eyes shined with joy and energy for life. He really stood out. He always had me laughing and I think everyone looked forward to seeing him every Tuesday night. I will miss him dearly. Although I only knew him for a short time, I believe he was in my life for a reason. There was something special about Walter.
