Timothy Allen Obituary

Beach Lake, PA - Timothy J. Allen, a certified arborist for SavATree, died on Sunday, October 28, 2007. He was 41.

The son of the late Edward Allen and Evelyn Sharp Allen, he was born March 21, 1966 in Middletown, N.Y.

He was a member of Cherry Ridge United Methodist Church, Slate Hill, N.Y. He was a member of ISA (Internal Society of Arborculture) and Minisink Valley High School Alumni Wrestling.

A Family statement reads: "Timothy was a loving husband and father. He loved his home and family and took great pleasure in making both the inside and outside of his house beautiful and comfortable to be in. As an arborist he had an eye for combining health and beauty into a landscape. This talent is obvious to anyone who has been to his home. Tim loved golfing and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him."

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Mary Partsafas Allen; his mother, Evelyn Sharp Allen; a stepson, John; one sister, Gladys Muller and her husband, Robert of Greenville; one brother, David Allen and his wife, Barbara of Slate Hill; nieces: Joanna Muller, Jessica Timmins and her husband, John, Christina Allen and Sandy Torrence; nephew, Dave Allen and his wife, Amanda, and great-nephew, Joshua Allen.

Tim is predeceased by his father, Edward Allen and by his nephew, Joshua Allen.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 31, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main St., Narrowsburg, NY 12764.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Manning Cemetery, Greenville, N.Y.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Home; 845-252-3901.
