Jason Smith Obituary

Mahwah, NJ - Jason M. Smith, entered into rest on November 3, 2007.

He was the beloved husband of Tina Raia; loving father of Zoe and Tina; son of Michael Smith of Bloomingburg, and Jean Smith Dowdy of Middletown, and brother of Michael Smith of Mahwah, NJ and Tina Smith of Middletown.

Born in Rome, N.Y., Jason lived the last two years in Mahwah and was the owner of JMS Landscaping in Ramsey for the last seven years. He was a member of the Mahwah Chamber of Commerce and a parishioner of St. Gabriel the Archangel R.C. Church in Saddle River. He also served in the U.S. Navy.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Saddle River. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. For information on the gathering of family and friends, please call 845-733-1698.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013. For information directions or to leave a condolence note, please visit www.marroccos.com or call 973-249-6111.

Mike, and the entire Smith family,
I wish to extend my me deepest sympathy for your loss. Jason was a truly wonderful person and friend. I'll always have great memories of him, as would anyone who has had the pleasure of his acquaintance.
