Growing up we always heard stories about the Terwilligers from our moms. Harriet was a wonderful person and will be missed by all. I always knew when I couldn't get my mom on the phone she was talking to Harriet. Sometimes it would be for a couple of hours. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A beautiful light has been extinguished.
I am honored to have known Harriet and will miss her. Whenever I would run into her around town, she would always take the time to talk to me and ask about my family. Her memory of people and events was amazing. Harriet had a good sense of humor too, and you never knew when it would come out. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face for everyone. God broke the mold when He made Harriet - there will never be anyone else like her.

I HAD HARRIET IN SCHOOL AS A STUDENT AND SHE WAS A GOOD ONE. I TAUGHT HER TYPING AND SHORTHAND AND RECOMMENDED HER TO BILL ROSE PRESIDENT OF THE HOME NATIONAL BANK AT THE TIME OF HER GRADUATION FROM E.H.S. SHE WAS A DEDICATED WORKER AND SPENT HER IDLE MOMENTS AS FEW AS THERE WERE, DOING GOOD FOR OTHERS. MRS. GILLEN AND I SEND OUR SUMMPATHIES TO HER AND HER EXTENDED FAMILY. MAY SHE REST IN THE PEACE OF THE LORD. SINCERELY

We will all miss you Harriet. You have been there for every part of our lives. You spoke so softly & always greeted everyone with a smile & a kind word.
Thank you for being a part of our lives. I can remember knowing you my whole life, it will be sad not bumping into you at a shower, wedding or the mall with Amy.
Even the young ones can't imagine Halloween without going to Harriets house for her famous toll house cookies & a chat. The simple nice things in life & you were part of them. Heaven just gained an angel.
