Thomas Lutrario Obituary

Middletown - Thomas J. Lutrario 'Red', of Middletown died peacefully on Wednesday, November 14th, 2007 at Orange Regional Medical Center at Horton. He was 80 years old. Thomas was born November 19,1926 in Jersey City, N.J. to Luigi and Angelina Lutrario. He served in the U S Navy during WW II on the USS William P. Biddle, was a member of the American Legion Post 151, BPO ELKS 1097, was an usher and member of St. Joseph's RC Church, Golden Age Seniors of Middletown, and Happy Seniors of Wallkill. Red was employed for over 40 years with the A & P Tea Co., Middletown. Red is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Bernice Ioffredo Lutrario, at home; two loving daughters, Donna Lutrario of Middletown, and Celeste Lutrario of Cary, N.C.; one brother, John Lutrario and his wife, Norma, of Toms River N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. His brothers Anthony and Joseph Lutrario predeceased him. Friends are invited to call on Friday, November 16th from 3-7 p.m. at Morse Funeral Home Inc. 33 Railroad Ave. Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Middletown, 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 17th, with Monsignor George Valastro officiating. Entombment will follow at Mother, Queen of Peace Mausoleum Middletown. Arrangements are under the supervision of the Morse Funeral Home Inc. 845-343-6918

Celeste, Mrs. Lutario and Donna,
I am so sorry to read about your dad/husband. I remember him as always being such a nice man-always with a smile on his face. Your family was always very special to me. It is not easy to lose those that we love, if there is anything I can do please let me know.
