Molly Corti Obituary

Newburgh, NY - Molly Corti, of Newburgh, entered into rest on November 23, 2007 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. She was 91.

Daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Cerasoli Corti, she was born April 19, 1916 in the Bronx, N.Y.

Molly enjoyed working in sales at Saks Fifth Ave., where she had the opportunity to meet many famous people. She also worked for the Union Labor Life Insurance Company in New York City and during WW II she was a member of the USO.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Anita Corti of Newburgh; nephews, Robert Corti of Vermont, William Corti, his wife Lynn and their children Michael and Eric of New Windsor; niece, Carol Traver, her husband Stephen and their children Aaron, Kyle and Zachary of Pleasant Valley; her special cousin, Toby Conner of New City; and other family members and friends. She will be missed by her special friends at the Johnes Home.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Joseph and Albert Corti.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, November 26 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550.

A funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27 in the funeral home. Entombment with a chapel service will follow at 11 a.m. in Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y.
