Yves Marcy Obituary
The son of August Marcy and Charlotte Denis Marcy, he was born on February 12, 1952 in Haiti. Yves moved to the area with his wife 31 years ago. He was the director of human resources for San-Mar Labs in Elmsford, N.Y. He was a strong and loving husband and father and his grandchild brought him special joy.
Along with his wife, Monique Dure-Marcy, Yves is survived by his children, Robert J. Marcy, Tamicka M. Marcy and Daniel Y. Marcy all of Middletown, and his grandchild, Malique J. Marcy; as well as relatives in the Denis, Legros, Bastien, Moliere and Regis families.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., today, Sunday, December 9, and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, December 10, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, at St. Albert's Chapel at The National Shrine of Our Lady Mt. Carmel, 70 Carmelite Dr., Middletown. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Middletown.
