Sincere condolences on the loss of Charlie. I enjoyed speaking to him at the regional NSP Southern Catskill meetings going back to 1978.

Dear John and Karen -
Weather prevents me from getting there this evening, but I wanted you to know how very sad I am at losing our Charlie. We all go back a long, long way, and some of who we all turned out to be is a direct result of his being in our lives. What a great laugh he had!And how I enjoyed our trips to Bellayre for Instructor's Refreshers until his stroke. Our Ski Patrol community has suffered a loss, but he's doing sweep with many of our old friends and mentors. He's in great company and will continue to look out for us.
With deepest sympathy - peace.
