Dear John, Janet, John, Tony, & Jim ~ I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you at this, your moment of profound loss. John and I were on the PRHS Academic Team together, and Tony and I got to know each other shortly thereafter. During her freshman year at PRHS, I met and got to know Cindy. A little while afterwards, she became my first girlfriend. I will always remember her for her warmth, her smile, and her laugh...an infectious laugh which always touched my heart, from the first time I heard it. I am deeply effected by the loss of such a kind and special young woman as Cindy was, and I can only imagine your own feelings at this very sad, and challenging time for all of you. Still, I would never try to dispute the plans of the Almighty. It has been said that God never does anything to you...He does things FOR you. Perhaps this was His way of easing Cindy's suffering. I can only join you in hoping that we will all be able to meet with her again, some day, in that House, built not by Human Hands; Eternal in the Heavens. God bless you all, guide you through these troubling times, and help you to understand that Cindy has gone to a better place; where she will never suffer again.

Dear John and Janet, John, Tony, & Jim. I was told by a friend about this tragic loss. May the arms of God be outstretched and bring Cindy to a place of Peace where her suffering shall be no more. I pray that all of you will find some peace in this sorrowful time, as you remember the joy and laughter that Cindy brought to all the people she knew. God bless, Donna Gebbia (P.R. Class of 1983)

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Saeli:

I was sorry to hear the news of Cindy's passing. Cindy and I attended Pearl River High School together. She was a very sweet person. We will remember her next Friday evening at our 25th High School Reunion. She will be missed.

I learned of the sad news from my mother-in-law, Barbara Berdy, who informed me today that you are friends from the quilting guild. It's a very small world with limited degrees of separation.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Louise Hutchison
