It was always a pleasure to enjoy Jon's (Virginia's) spaghetti at Christmas time. He will be truely missed. Although we never agreed on politics we could always enjoy a great trout fishing story together. I regret never having actually gone fishin' with Jon. May the Lord be with his family and Karen at this time of loss.

To Karen and Jon's extended family; my heart goes out to all of you. I met Jon and Karen in the 70's and we shared many a night at McNally's, socializing and enjoying pool. As a matter-of-fact, Jon was the "king" of the bumper pool table. I have many fond memories of watching him win game after game. His (obit) picture reflects a life fully lived and a truly happy spirit. I am so sorry for your loss. My sincerest condolences.

Dear Karen and Family,

It was an honor and privelege to have known Jon. I was fortunate to have spent time with him at the electrical apprenticeship program and traveling to Tennessee for the National Training Institute. Jon was truly a talented and dedicated instructor. A new motor control lab was constructed at the training facility exclusively designed by Jon. He was a very kind and caring person freely giving of himself to those around him. I will always remember the fun my wife and I had rafting together with Jon.

With sincere condolences,
Byron and Deena Benton

He was a genuine good guy, and I'm glad I got to fish with Jon many times in my youth, and even a few years ago.

Jon, I hope you and Uncle Rod are casting to huge, rising trout on the most beautiful stream imaginable.

Tight lines Jon,
